Who am I?

Hi! I’m Donna, a forty-something self-employed, frazzled Mum of two little people. Well, one isn’t that little. I love graphic design, roast potatoes and hugs.

Being a parent is tough and sometimes it is just about getting through to the end of the day. Originally the blog was started due to the very first lockdown. At the time we all thought we were heading towards an apocalypse.

The name stuck and it certainly isn’t about suicide. These days I just mean getting to the end of the day without going bonkers!

The website stood empty until June 2022 when I decided to resurrect it. My Little Man had just had the official diagnosis of autism and I needed an outlet more than ever.

There is a stigma in society that if you show any kind of anxiety then you are “not coping”, a “bad parent”.

Well I’m here to say that we’ve all had anxiety at one point or another. I’ve found ways to make parenting easier over the years and I would like to help others too.

I am surviving. One day at a time. Join me.

My Aim

I aim to make your life easier. I want you to go on this journey through parenting with me.

I’d like for us to face the challenges together. Celebrate the achievements and console each other when we feel like we’re failing.

One.

Day.

At a.

Time.

My Promise To You
