Both Little Man and Not-So-Little Lady struggle conveying emotions. Little Man has been diagnoses as autistic but my daughter has somehow slipped through the net. Another story.
I created this free printable wall art of avocado emotions so we had a cute way of Little Man being able to tell us how he feels.
When he is in the middle of a meltodown (a meltdown is not a tantrum), he is beyond the point of communicating with words. This way he can point at the picture.
I originally did this with just regular round faces but I decided it was way too boring!
